Professional Watersports Training courses are fast becoming the most popular way to travel to some of the most exotic locations of the world. Two or three months training should be enough to enable you get work with watersports providers’ worldwide. And because there is a greater global demand for watersports staff than there are instructors, you can work as much or as little as you like, after all you are taking a break!

The courses cover all aspects of teaching watersports, and will train you to be a confident, safe and professional instructor. Our experienced staff will train you in diving, windsurfing or kitesurfing, using intensive courses to maximize your travel time afterwards. As well as the course based learning you will also be able to make use of the wealth of experience offered by our highly knowledgeable staff.

Your training takes place in the tropical paradise of Boracay, an idyllic island in the Philippine archipelago. Boracay offers the perfect blend of local culture, beautiful surroundings, and an easygoing social scene. Our courses are quite intensive, designed to maximise your traveling potential after completion, so you'll be active most days, but how hard can it be learning watersports on a paradise island in the South China Sea?

What could be more satisfying than learning a new sport, then traveling to exotic locations teaching others your new found skills? Add to that, a life on the beach, where your biggest worry is whether to go for a swim, read a book, or open another coconut.

With many new innovations in equipment recently, windsurfing is becoming much easier to learn. Gone are the days of falling off every two seconds, now beginner windsurfers can be sailing up and down happily within a day or two. This also means that it is now easier to train to become an instructor, a fast learning curve leads to greater skills and knowledge in a relatively short time.

Work opportunities are infinite, windsurfing can be found on almost any tourist beach world-wide. Whether you want to work at a large watersports centre teaching formal courses, or are happier living on the beach giving informal tuition to holiday makers, our courses will train you within a few short weeks.

The Centre
The only officially recognised kitesurf centre in Asia. We are recognised by the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation) and the BKSA (British Kitesurfing Association) to teach beginners through to instructors. Fully equipped with 2003 Naish training kites and boards, we can also offer great deals on new equipment to our instructor candidates.

Perfect setting
The centre is perfectly located right on the beach. There is a grassy rigging area, along with changing facilities, toilets and board storage, and you can get drinks and snacks next door.

The shallow white sand beach extends out into the sea, giving waist deep water across most of the bay, perfect for learning. And thanks to the fringing reef, the sailing area is nice and flat. For the more experienced, there are good waves on the reef. Oh, and the views are stunning!

Courses
We offer two courses appropriate to beginners or those with some previous experience:

4 Week Windsurf Instructor Training
With some previous experience you can join this course to train as a windsurf instructor. You should already be able to sail competently in light winds, hold RYA Level 2 or be of similar ability.

This is a comprehensive course covering all aspects of instruction, safety and personal sailing ability to instructor standard. You will be trained in the use of a variety of equipment including simulators, teaching aids and different boards and rigs. We always try to maintain the 'fun factor' but do bear in mind that this course also requires dedication. On completion of the course you should be at a level where you can introduce beginners to the basics of the sport.

3 Week Windsurf Training
Complete beginners can progress through to a competent level, sailing shortboards by the end of the course, enjoying the benefits of smaller, faster boards. The course is designed to maximize your time on the water, by keeping land sessions to a minimum you are able to gain much more experience than would normally be the case. You will use a great variety of equipment, and sail in many different conditions, all helping to accelerate your learning.
Use the three week course as an introduction to windsurfing or combine it with the instructor course to gain another teaching qualification.

Bulabog Beach
All windsurfing and kitesurfing takes place at Bulabog Beach, a 2 mile wide bay, with chest deep water, protected by a fringing reef. The equipment is new, the sailing area perfect, the tuition is second to none and the scenery is stunning. We've never seen a place better suited to these courses.

Location
Boracay Island
200 miles south of Manila lies the tropical paradise of Boracay.
Only 8 miles long and 1 mile wide, surrounded by white sand beaches and covered in lush tropical vegetation, Boracay is perfectly formed to offer some of the best diving and sailing conditions in Asia.

Island Life
Boracay offers a unique lifestyle for locals and visitors.
Having not fallen to the ravages of mass tourism, Boracay has managed to maintain its beach community atmosphere. Sandy paths connect the island and everyone walks. Accommodation, training centres and meeting places are all within 5 minutes of each other, all located along White Beach, a beautiful stretch of powder white sand.

Although the courses will take up a lot of your time during the day, the island can offer a great deal in evening entertainment. Choose your dinner from Mongolian, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Filipino, French, Swiss… the list is endless. Then move on to one of the friendly bars to either chill out, dance or try your hand at 'singalong', you're always made to feel welcome by warm hearted Filipinos.

Accommodation
Your own beach bungalow, with ensuite bathroom.
All rooms have a fan, double bed, mosquito screens, veranda and hammock, they are comfortable and private. The dive centre is a 2-minute walk away, the sailing beach is 5 minutes by trike, and you are within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants.
