Wakeboarding, Waterskiing - Cable Ski in Phuket Thailand with Extreme Sports Cafe....

Open to both novices and professionals, this water-ski park provides an opportunity to cable-ski on a huge lake, fed from the clean cool waters of the Kathu District Waterfall.

The oblong course offers a challenge for skiers, using the German-built ski-drag situated in the center.

In addition to the normal type of ski, there are kneeboards, splashing discs and single boards.

The cable speed is variable from 28-58 kilometers per hour and all skiers are under the watchful eye of experienced instructors.

Question: Who should come to the Kathu Phuket Cableski?

Answer: Anyone who enjoys playing in the water! The cableski is safe and fun for people of all ages.

Question: Do I need my own equipment?
Answer: No, there are wakeboards, wakeskates, waterski's, kneeboards, trick skis, and lifejackets available and included in the price.

Question: What is the best time to go?
Answer: After 10am and before 4pm. The cableway closes at dusk.

Question: Do they have any kickers and sliders?
Answer: Yes; there are two kickers and one slider.

Question: Is there a hotel or lodging on site?
Answer: No, but there are several hotels and homes for rent in the surrounding area. Please contact Extreme Sports Cafe for help with this..

Question: Is there a restaurant and bar on site?
Answer: At the moment there is only a snackbar.

Last question: What is the scene like?
Last answer: The scene is very upbeat and friendly with skiers and wakeboarders from all over the world to train and have fun. Expect lots of smiles, good music, and a layed back atmosphere.

If you have your own car werecommend you get to Kathu and then ask a motorbike taxi to lead you there for a fee of 20 Baht. We are very close to the Kathu waterfall.
