Upper Austria’s capital Linz sprawls along the banks of the Danube and is situated on the ancient Salt Road that used to link Salzkammergut to Bohemia. Thus Linz is an industrial and manufacturing centre with a long history. Today, the thriving town has an international Airport and the biggest port on the Danube and is well known as a centre for education as well.

Linz is a marvellous mix of classic centuries-old European architecture within a modern-day lifestyle. Linz is a lively capital and should definitely be on the itinerary of every visitor to Austria. Linz offers a perfect blend of big town shopping opportunities, cultural activities, and fine wining & dining.

Linz today is one of the leading cultural centres of Austria. Located just 15 min out of Linz Extreme Sports Café offers various camps with a whole host of outdoor sporting activities included at our Austrian Wakeboarding centre. Extreme Sports Café’s Austrian Wakeboarding Centre is definitely situated in the perfect location - 15 min to the Wakeboarding boat, 15 min to the Cable Wakeboarding and only another 150 km to the next mountain glacier! With everything located in the same area why not combine everything!?

Extreme Sports Café’s Austrian Wakeboarding centre offers different types of Wakeboarding camps with or without accommodation at our Wakeboarding homebase, which can include, Wakeboarding on the Danube, Snowboarding, Cable Wakeboarding and even a Micro light Flight.

Just a cool weekender or maybe even a full power week of wakeboarding with loads of action and great fun, it’s up to you. Extreme Sports Café’s Austrian Wakeboarding Centre offers 2,3,4 or 5-day Wakeboarding camps.

Personal care, attention and learning are important factors on our Wakeboarding camps and to guarantee that certain personnel touch we limit the number of participants to a maximum of 5 persons and a minimum of 3 persons. We take our time and treat everybody as an individual, to motivate, inspire and to get the best results out of you! (There are loads of new wakeboarding, snowboarding or cable wakeboarding tricks that you have probably never thought about doing that could suit you)

Extreme Sports Café’s Austrian Wakeboarding centre is hidden away in the hilly and beautiful Gramastetten. As you approach the front entrance of our homebase your gaze is met by a big lush green terraced garden with gorgeous flowers that could remind one of the Garden of Eden.

Extreme Sports Café’s Austrian wakeboarding homebase has a Trampoline, a 16-meter long swimming biotope and another biotope with an observation platform waiting for you!

The living room is equipped with Surround Sound system, perfect for video/DVD’s, playsations and chilled evenings. (250 DVD’s archived – Hollywood movies, extreme sports videos…)

The Indoboard corner (A type of balance trainer board) always gives lots of laughs and great pleasure.

Our first proper group evening get together, will be after the first day of action packed wakeboarding, snowboarding or cable wakeboarding fun. (Everyone will be too busy arriving and getting settle in the night before)
Accommodation will be in double rooms or in our luxurious caravan. (In our beautiful garden)

Wakeboarding Coach

Extreme Sports Café’s Austrian Wakeboarding Centre coach is Daniel Fetz a national and international successful wakeboarder. (3 times Austria champion, former Vize junior world champion and more) During his wakeboarding trips around the world (Australia, Singapore, Orlando with Mike Ferraro...) he was able to gain a lot of experience.

Since 2002 he has been involved in organizing and supervising Wakeboarding camps. His coaching skills are now in demand all around the world. For the Winter 05/06 he worked for 4 months in Thailand as wakeboard coach at Extreme Sports Café’s Thailand Wakeboarding school.

Wakeboarding Boat...
The admirable Celeste (Our Correct Craft Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition) is stationed in Linz on the marvellous Danube. The scenery contains a large variety; we can ride directly into the centre, in front of all the onlooker’s eyes, or past all the industries and finally ride into the countryside. The water conditions are so good they remind you of an untouched lake. The wide river at the dam entrance also provides calm conditions on rough water days..

Linz is about one hour east of Passau and Salzburg and two hours west of Vienna.

Arrival for Extreme Sports Café’s Austrian Wakeboarding Camps is on the evening the day before our first full action packed day.

Meeting at 18.00 pm at Extreme Sports Café’s Austrian Wakeboarding Homebase.

Everyday starts with a healthy power breakfast to set us up for all the Wakeboarding, Snowboarding or Cable Wakeboarding we will do before lunch!

Linz is about one hour east of Passau and Salzburg and two hours west of Vienna.

If you are travelling by Plane or Train, send us your arrival information and we will pick you up.
