MOENG-ON, SANKAMPAENG ( 1 DAY ) Pure 100% Rock Climbing @ Crazy Horse!

This one day trip starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at around 5 p.m. It is pure 100% rock climbing! The forty-five kilometre journey takes less than forty minutes from Chiang Mai City to Muang Orn area of Sankampang District. There are in total 70 routes to climb ranging from 5 to 8 on the difficulty scale. The price includes your guide, transportation, food as well as insurance.

This is a one day climbing trip at Muang-on cave in Sankampang area,. Which is about 50 km from town. The cliff is about 80-100 meter in height. We have about 70 routes for climbing to choose from. From beginner to advance climber. Pick-up at your hotel around 8:00am in the morning, go to the Peak Night Bazaar to set up all the gear.. Leave from there to Sankampang, about a 50 min. drive… Once at the cliff, our staff will explain the routes to you and teach you some of the necessary techniques and safety precautions. You will then have the whole day to enjoy your climbing adventure! We will return to town about 5:00p.m.

MOENG-ON, SANKAMPAENG ( 1 DAY )

7.30 a.m. : Meet at the peak to gather your equipment and prepare for the day,or have us pick you up directly from your hotel or guesthouse.
8:00 a.m. : Drive to Crazy Horse Buttress.This drive will take you past the handicraft areas in Chiang mai.
9:00 a.m. : Climbing at Crazy Horse Buttress. Climbing routes of all grades are available.
12:00 p.m. : Take a break for lunch at the restaurant 5 minutes from Crazy Horse.
1:00 p.m. : After lunch, back to Crazy Horse again for more climbing including the inside of Muang-On Cave.
16:30 p.m. : Return to the Peak and relax with a drink and some delicious local food.

LAMPANG (2 DAYS 1 NIGHTS), (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS) Climbing in Stunning Wilderness

Kewlom is a spectacular dam in a stunning mountain setting, a gentle boat ride into the wilderness takes you to the rock face which drops straight into the water. This is a fun filled trip which starts off by leaving Chiang Mai at 8 a.m. and journeying to Lampang, stopping off at the Elephant Conservation Centre on the way to see the elephants as well as taking a ride on the back of one. You will arrive in Kewlom by around noon and after the boat ride can start climbing the Pakieng Cliff, which is 100 metres high and around 500 metres wide. The Pakieng Cliff has a total of 30 routes ranging in difficulty between 5 and 8. The highlight of this particular spot is that the belay must be from the raft itself as the cliff drops straight into the water. When the sun gets overhead and sweat begins to pour from your exertion, a quick jump into the water is a great way to chill out and have some fun. There are kayaks which can be taken to explore the surrounding area and there are some very large fish in the area to catch and perhaps to cook in the camp fire after the sun sets.
This idyllic setting is perfect for taking a couple of days away from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai and enjoying yourself in the midst of nature.

On this trip you will enjoy a variety of activities, starting at 8:00a.m. and pick up at your hotel. You will then set up all the gear at the Peak Night Bazaar.. Leave the city to Lampang province which takes about 1.30 hrs. We will stop at the elephant training camp, you will see the elephants and also the first elephant hospital in the world. After that we will go to Kewlom Dam by boat to climb the cliff… There are many routes for beginners as well as advanced climbers. While you are there you can go Kayaking, Fishing, Swimming, or explore the treasure cave (World War II Japanese soldiers hid there during the war). End your day with a camp fire at night and sleep in a tent with beautiful views of mountain and lake…

DAY 1
8:00 a.m. : Pick up at hotel. Prepare gear at The Peak.
8.30 a.m. : Scenic drive to Gew Lom Dam in Lampang Province.
9:30 a.m. : Arrive Elephant Conservation Centre. See the elephant show and elephant riding.
10.30 a.m. : Continue to Kew Lom Dam in Lampang.
11.00 a.m. : Arrive Kew Lom Dam:Traveling by boat to an island in the middle of the Dam.
11.45 a.m. : Arrive at island. Setup camp.
12:00 p.m. : Have lunch.
1:00 p.m. : Rock Climbing at the cliff which stands prominently in the water.
5:00 p.m. : Return to camp. Enjoy camp style cooking.
7:00 p.m. : Free time to relax on your own.
DAY 2
7:00 a.m. : Get up early to see the sunrise from the edge of the water. Experience the peaceful atmosphere and relax.
10:00 a.m. : Rock climbing!.
12:00 p.m. : Have lunch.
1:00 p.m. : Do activities such as swimming, fishing, surveying the island.
6:00 p.m. : Have dinner.
DAY 3
7:00 a.m. : Enjoy the sunrise with a fresh cup of coffee.
9:00 a.m. : Rock climbing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, etc.
12:00 p.m. : Have lunch.
1:00 p.m. : Return to Chiang Mai, stop at scenic view point at Lampang.
6:00 p.m. : Prepare to go back to Chiang Mai.

LAMPANG ( 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT )
DAY 1
8:00 a.m. : Pick up at hotel.
8:30 a.m. : Scenic drive to Gew Lom Dam in Lampang Province.
10:30 a.m. : Gew Lom Dam: traveling by boat to an island in the middle of the Dam. ( around 45 minutes )
11:30 a.m. : Arrive at island. Setup camp.
12:00 p.m. : Have lunch.
1:00 p.m. : Rock Climbing at the cliff which is stand prominently among the water.
5:00 p.m. : Return to camp. Enjoy camp style cooking.
7:00 p.m. : Free time to relax on your own or with a partner.
8:00 p.m. : Activities around the fire.
DAY 2
7:00 a.m. : Get up early to see the sunrise from the edge of the water. Feel the peaceful atmosphere.
9:00 a.m. : Adventures in rock climbing! Enjoy activities such as swimming, fishing,surveying the island.
12:00 p.m. : Have lunch.
1:00 p.m. : Return to Chiang Mai, stop at scenic view point at Lampang.
6:00 p.m. : Arrive back in Chiang Mai.

OFF ROAD (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS), (4 DAYS 3NIGHTS) 4x4 Adrenaline Rush

This 3 day 2 night trip is a very exciting trip full of fun which is also pretty rough going. We did warn you! Starting off from Chiang Mai, you will drive a jeep off road to Pai, a both peaceful and stunning sleepy little town which has become world famous. However, driving through the jungle is no easy feat and the arrival in Pai may be just before nightfall. The next day you will be elephant riding, rafting, caving, visiting hill tribes and going on a second world war museum trip as well as a drive up to Phra Thad Doi Kong Mu, before arriving in Mae Hong Son. The return journey from Mae Hong Son to Chiang Mai will make the first day’s trip to Pai seem like a walk in the park and will satisfy every adventurous bone in your body! If you are lucky you will arrive back in Chiang Mai before night fall, but if things get rough, it may be much much later! The price includes the 4x4 off road vehicle, accommodation, food, guide and insurance.

This is a demanding and satisfying trip to “Pai” Meahongson in which you will explore the jungle of northern Thailand with a 4x4 off road car.. Visiting the Hill Tribe village, Long neck Karen, Lod cave, Elephants and see beautiful views of this country and many other surprising and unpredictable things. You will traverse this demanding off road route with difficulty, or sometimes you won't! Program A - Regular ( 3 DAYS 2 NIGHT )
Day 1
9.00 a.m. : Start from Chiangmai city at Smile House. Then go straight to Maerim area.
10.00 a.m. : Visit Orchid Farm, Snake Farm, Bungy Jump(Optional) and then exit to rough road at about noon.
2.00 p.m. : Stop for lunch for a while and then have fun with the difficult road. Here you have to help each other to get the car out of the mud and up the steep road at times.
4.00 p.m. : Arrive at PAI, a very beautiful small town. Here we will go to the elephant camp and have a chance to ride an elephant and go Bamboo Rafting which takes about 2-3 hrs.
7.00 p.m. : Dinner together at the restaurant in PAI after that depends on you. If you like the quiet there are many place to go and if you like to have fun no problem..
Day 2
9.00 a.m. : Get ready for guide and car to go to “Morpang Water Fall” for about an hour and then after that go to visit “LISU” Hill tribe Village. On this route you will see very beautiful scenery and all the way up the road gets more exciting!
12.00 a.m. : Have Lunch / Coffee and relax for 1-2 Hrs in “Lisu “ Village. After that go further down to another 2 Hill tribe Villages.
4.00 p.m. : Go to “Lod Cave”. In the beautiful, Deep and Long cave inside you will see many many beautiful natural formations.
6.00 p.m. : Start to go to “Mae Hong Son” City, which may take you about 2 Hrs. Arrive at the hotel have dinner and relax.
Day 3
8.00 a.m. : Get up early again to visit Maehongson market, Jongklang Temple, Gongmoo Temple, Long Neck, Karen Village have lunch and start to go to KhunYuam. From Khun Yuam go next to Maenajorn and then Off-Road again which will take about 4 hrs and heading back to Chiangmai arrive at Chiangmai about 10.00 PM.

Program B - Very Difficult ( 4 DAYS 3 NIGHT )
Day 1 - Sabai Sabai Day
9.00 a.m. : Start from Chiangmai city at Smile House then go straight to Maerim area.

Day 2 - Exciting Day, Very difficult route!
9.00 a.m. : Leaving the GH in PAI heading to the real Jungle “Baan Najarong”, From now on you will get new experience of driving on the OFF-ROAD . The road is not a road it is something else! You have to see it for yourself. ;-)
5.00 p.m. : Go to “Morpang Water Fall” for relax about 1 hr and then go back to Pai.
Day 3 - Fun Day
9.00 a.m. : Get ready for the guide and car to visit “LISU” Hill tribe Village. This route you will see very very beautiful scenery. All the way up there it is a very exciting road.
12.00 a.m. : Have Lunch Coffee and relax for 1-2 Hrs in “Lisu “ Village. After that go further down to another 2 Hill tribe Villages.
4.00 p.m. : Go to “Lod Cave” a beautiful, Deep and Long cave.
6.00 p.m. : Start to go to “Mae Hong Son” City. Which may take you about 2 Hrs, go to the hotel have dinner and relax.
Day 4 - ”Sanook Mak “ Day, Very difficult route
8.00 a.m. : Get up early again to visit Maehongson market, Jongklang Temple, Gongmoo Temple, Long Neck, Karen Village and then hurry to go Off-Road.
12.00 a.m. : On the way to “Huay Pu Ling “, a very very difficult road you will enjoy the beautiful view. But be prepared, this road is not a picnic! We will arrive back to Chiangmai about 10.00 p.m..

SAMOENG (2 DAYS 1 NIGHTS), (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS) No Mercy Trekking Trip

Nicknamed the 'No Mercy Trekking Trip', this is an ultra rough trek which will take you deep into the jungles of the wilds of the north of Thailand. Steep mountains, wilderness, thick jungle and spectacular views will take you to visit the Karen hill tribe villages, elephant riding, rafting, abseiling from a 200 metre cliff, bathing in a hot spring as well as three days of hard trekking which will make you fully appreciate the beauty and wonders of the mountains of the north of Thailand, and perhaps your hotel room when you return!

This is a No-Mercy Trek which will bring you to see the most beautiful scenery in the Samoeng area. Doi Mon Dok … Which about 2 hrs from town.. 7:00 p.m. : Set up camp for the night at “Doi Mon Dok”, which is located at the top of the mountain. Relax around the fire while you observe the scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Dinner will be served, games will be played and everyone is free to enjoy the atmosphere as they wish.
DAY 2
7:00 a.m. : Get up early to see the sun rise and fog sea! Take some pictures! Have breakfast and prepare for another fun day of traveling.
10:00 a.m. : Get to the bottom of the mountain by abseiling down. Guaranteed an experience you will not forget!
12:00 p.m. : Have lunch at the creek in the forest.
1:00 p.m. : Visit the Karen Village. Relax and enjoy an educational and entertaining evening with the Karen people as they share their stories and their way of life with you.

ROCK CLIMBING SCHOOL (3 DAYS)

Extreme Sports Cafe and The Peak Adventure now offers beginners, intermediate as well as advanced levels of rock climbing. The theory days of these courses are held conveniently at our climbing wall in the Night Bazaar in the centre of Chiang Mai. The first two days will be mainly theory followed by one days real practice. The price includes instruction, transportation and food on the day which will take you to a real cliff.

 3 Day classes : In this class you learn many things about climbing. Beginners, Medium and Advance classes are available. In every class we will take you to climb a real rock face during the course. You will also receive a certificate from us for your training which will be on how to belay, tie knots , top rope climbing, rappelling and so on …
