Helicopter
Skydiving in Switzerland!
Extreme
Sports Café is now pleased to offer Heli-Skydiving Packages
for groups of 10-15 in the Swiss Alps. The jumps are done over
a super landscape and are certainly more rewarding than jumping
the whole day over a normal airfield.
Please
contact Extreme Sports Cafe to arrange
these Helicopter Skydive Trips. If you don't have a group of
skydivers large enough we can work with you to put a package
together.
We
use the Alouette III Helicopter or the Squirrel AS350B2 for
our Skydiving. The helicopter flights are subject to commercial
regulations. Therefore all pilots are professional pilots and
the helicopter maintenance is fulfilled to the strict requirements
of the Swiss FAA.
Our
helicopter skydive drop zone is situated at the end of The Zurich
Lake in Canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It is located on the
southwest slope of Heitersburg, which Reuss and Limmat valleys
separates.. The panorama view is stunning. Large meadows all
around and a fine hotel near by make it a great location for
Skydiving.

reference. Completely revised, softcover,

four-color cover.
From
the Author
Parachuting / Skydiving is continuously growing & evolving.
Dan Poynter and I have attempted to bring to you, the reader
(novice or experienced), the latest information available which
covers many aspects of the sport. It is our hope that this book
will be used by you as a tool to increase your learning about
the sport. We have addressed several training and controversial
issues openly and honestly, attempting to give full merit to
both (or more) viewpoints when more than one right answer is
available. This book is a "living document" and will
continue to change as the sport changes and grows. Each successive
issue (from the very first one that I used to study the sport
over 21 years ago) has been written with that philosophy in mind;
one of continuous improvement.
We hope you like the book, and if you can think of anything else
to add, please feel free to contact one of us with your suggestions!
Blue, Clear, and Calm Skies to y'all.

British
Parachute Association
BPA
- British Parachute Association
The
British Parachute Association was founded in 1962
to organise, govern and further the advancement
of Sport
Parachuting within
the UK. The Association’s aim today is to encourage
participation and promote excellence at all levels of
skydiving from novice to world class competitor. Its
success is such
that today there are around 35 affiliated parachute clubs
throughout the country and a membership of more than
30,000. The Association is funded by membership subscriptions,
shop sales and Sports Council grants and has an annually
elected
council of 15 full members which controls all aspects
of
skydiving on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority.
Unlike many other sports which suffer from fragmented and divided governing bodies,
the British Parachute Association represents most UK skydivers and the majority
of skydivers within the UK are members of the Association. The control of the
sport including safety, training, competitions, finance and development is administered
by the full-time officers of the Association who include a National Coach and
Safety Officer, a Technical Officer, Secretary-General and administrative staff.
The British Parachute Association is represented on the Council of the Royal
Aero Club, the Federation Aeronautique Internationale and the Commission Internationale
de Parachutisme.
