Extreme Sports Cafe's Drop Zone near Seville in Spain operates out of La Juliana airfield, 20 minutes south of Seville in southern Spain. In Seville we offer one-off packages such as Tandem skydives or full Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) courses where you can become a fully qualified skydiver. Our new Drop Zone near Seville, or Sevilla, is a new addition to the Extreme Sports Cafe stable. We offer Accelerated Free Fall Skydiving Courses as well as Tandem Skydives in Seville...

This summer during the hot season, we will have the single turbine engine SMG working at the dropzone. It looks very similar to a Pilatus Porter, however it climbs quicker (15,000ft in 13 minutes), has a left door exit, holds 10 people and has a huge float rail to launch big groups.
Our Dornier G92 will return to Spain in the autumn when the main season picks up. Based at Target Skysports for the British summer, this aircraft climbs to altitude in 12 minutes and can hold 15 people.

In Seville we offer both Tandem Skydive experiences, as well as full AFF courses. You can also book your Tandem skydive online....

Our Tandem Skydives in Seville cost €200 (You can add video and camera as extra cost options to the jump, or simply do your tandem skydive and enjoy the experience. This may then lean you towards deciding you want to take a full parachute course and learn to skydive. If you want to learn to skydive we can then offer the AFF (or Accelerated Free Fall course.)

The Accelerated Free Fall course costs €1,470.(Approx £984). If you prefer we can offer you a complete package including flights, accommodation, etc from €1,720 .(Approx £1,200).

Skydive Spain has several key advantages... its near several major airports, a large landing area, highest altitude in Spain, turbine aircraft, no tremontana winds, no snow or cold weather.
La Juliana dropzone operates 7 days a week from 9am until sunset. Please let us know before you come to help us make your trip as successful as possible.

This is an advanced method of instruction which has been developed in the USA to enable people to take full advantage of one to one training while in freefall. As a conventional parachute student, you would start on a square parachute at 4,000 ft with a static line which is attached to the aircraft and opens the parachute for you automatically on your exit. It will take a minimum of 5 jumps on static line before you graduate to freefall with a 3-second delay from 4,500 ft.

As an AFF student you make your first jump on the latest, purpose built equipment with a state of the art square canopy. Your first jump will be a freefall descent from between 12,000 ft and 15,000 ft with two AFF instructors jumping with you and and maintaining grips on your body and parachute harness. These two AFF instructors assist with stability and provide in-air teaching information. Prior to each and every jump the student receives extensive and thorough training, covering both the freefall learning objectives and the operation of the equipment used in the program.

Successful students graduate to having only one AFF instructor accompanying them by Level 4. The instructor in freefall will provide instructional input and subsequently critique the performance. Students normally graduate from the AFF program on or around their eighth jump.
At this stage they have mastered most of the freefall skills that would take their conventional counterparts about 20 - 30 jumps to achieve. The AFF program caters not only for the person who wishes to graduate and become a skydiver, but also provides an opportunity for those people who would like to make one freefall descent in a safe and controlled environment - AFF Level 1.

The size of an AFF class is restricted to a maximum of three people. The tuition is on a very close personal basis and yet is informal and relaxed, often on a one to one basis. In this environment the student can assimilate a great amount of knowledge in a short period of time. The training comprises lectures and physical activities covering all aspects of the skydives that you will be making.

3rd party insurance is compulsory to protect other people / businesses from any damage resulting from skydiving. You can choose either a 3-month or an annual policy which can be taken-out at the dropzone when you arrive. Personal accident and health insurance is covered by FEADA (medical expenses only). If you are already a jumper from another country, please show your policy to the office or purchase a new policy.

Having graduated at Level 8 you must then complete 10 Consolidation jumps, practicing the skills learnt during your AFF course. These jumps will be charged at normal jump prices plus kit hire.
