literally years ahead of the rest. Tec courses provide the techniques and procedures necessary for diving beyond recreational dive limits. These are some of the most intensive, yet exhilarating, courses you'll find. Technical diving isn't for everyone but if this type of diving appeals to you and you're willing to accept the risks, responsibilities and obligations, you'll find it one of the most rewarding dive experiences you'll ever have. TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver This course will train you in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EANx 21 through 100% (oxygen) for dives not requiring staged decompression. Expanded enriched air theory covering oxygen use up to 100% and, advanced dive planning. Included are 4 dives, practice with advanced buoyancy control and surface marker buoy use.
TDI Decompression Procedures Diver Trains you to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dives to 45m. This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 150fsw/45msw unless taught in conjunction with advanced nitrox, Extended Range or Advanced Wreck Courses. The most common equipment requirements, gear set-ups, decompression techniques and decompression mixtures (including oxygen and nitrox) are presented.
TDI Extended Range Diver Make dives down to 55 m that require staged decompression, utilizing nitrox mixtures and oxygen during decompression. This course provides the training and experience required to competently utilize air for dives up to 180fsw / 55msw that require staged decompression, utilizing nitrox mixtures and oxygen during decompression. TDI Extended Range / Entry Level Trimix Learn to safely use Trimix to make dives to a depth of 60m. This course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize breathing gasses containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilizing nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 200fsw/60msw. TDI Advanced Trimix Teaches you to utilize Trimix to make dives to 100 m This
course provides the training required to competently and safely
utilize breathing gasses containing helium for dives that require
staged decompression, utilizing nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures
during decompression to a maximum depth of 300fsw/100msw.

After this course you'll be able to conduct gas-switch extended no-decompression dives, decompression dives & accelerated decompression dives using air and nitrox to a depth of 50m. DSAT Apprentice Tec Diver Learn to make gas switch, extended no-decompression dives using air and enriched air to 40 metres. Ideal for those who don’t have the time to complete the full Tec Deep course - you can complete an upgrade course at any time to become a Tec Deep Diver. DSAT Tec Trimix Diver Learn to conduct gas-switch extended no-decompression dives, decompression dives and accelerated decompression dives using Trimix, air and enriched air to a depth of 75m. DSAT Gas Blender and DSAT Trimix Blender These courses will train you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers.
* Be aware that although we have pre-requisites for technical diving published here the final decision as to which level of training (if at all) within technical spheres is left to the Instructor conducting the course. A refund of course fees will of course be forthcoming if you have to cancel your course due to unsuitability which is not your fault. However, should you choose to cancel the course due to unexpected difficulty a sur-charge will be levied.
ESC are affiliated with PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) and SSI (Scuba Schools International) as well as various technical diving organisations, such as IANTD, SDI, TDI. This means that ESC is able to offer entry level 'Discover Scuba' experiences, Open Water training (allowing you to qualify as a Diver), right through to full Technical Expeditions to dive unexplored Wrecks.
