All the instructors are qualified through the BMAA and are highly experienced professionals. The Paramotoring Centre follows the BMAA Foot Launched Powered Aircraft Association (FLPA) syllabus and qualifies students as BMAA Paramotor Pilots; a world recognized Paramotoring qualification. The BMAA is the world's leading authority in the Microlight aircraft industry.

One and Two Day Paramotor Taster courses run everyday of the week from 9.30am to 5.30pm. These courses make the perfect gift and can be purchased in the form of a voucher. Please contact us to arrange a date and check availability.
The 4, 6 and 12-day courses also run from 9.30am to 5.30pm and will start on Monday mornings. In the summer, customers have the opportunity to fly as late as 9.30pm depending upon the weather conditions. However, as the school cannot guarantee consistent weather conditions, customers therefore have the ability to fragment their course and have it arranged around them and the weather.
This is only possible if customers book in advance.

Paramotoring with Extreme Sports Cafe in Wiltshire

All UK training takes place near Mere, Wiltshire. A series of different training sites in a 30-minute radius of Mere provide ideal training locations. The area is ideal for both Paragliding and Paramotoring, with uninterrupted airspace, open countryside and beautiful views.
Extreme Sports Café’s partner Paramotoring Centre is a BMAA registered centre based in Mere, Wiltshire. The school runs a series of different courses catering for all standards, from beginners to advanced pilots. The centre also sells a wide range of some of the best Paragliding and Paramotoring equipment available. They are also the official Training School for Parajet, the UK's leading Paramotor manufacturer.
Paramotoring training courses in the UK take place in close proximity to the Parajet factory. This allows students to learn more about the construction of the Paramotor. The UK Training is unique as it includes a series of practical sessions in the workshop with the Parajet engineers. All courses follow the BMAA FLPA syllabus.

Extreme Sports Café’s partner UK Paramotoring Centre courses are available all year round they are however depend upon course availability and the weather. The summer courses start to get booked up quickly. (June- September) In order to avoid disappointment we recommend that you contact us in advance in order to reserve your ideal dates.
Please be aware that any days that are unused will be held in credit for up to 12 months.

1-Day Parmotor Taster Course £165

Price includes all equipment hire logbooks and instruction.

2-Day Paramotor Taster Course £275
learn to paramotor uk Book Paramotoring onlineThe 2-Day Taster is suitable for complete beginners on holiday who wish to gain more of an insight into the sport. They will start to develop more advanced skills required to fly a Paramotor and gain even more of an insight into the sport.
Price includes all equipment hire logbooks and instruction.



6-Day Beginner Paramotor Course £745

Complete Beginners will sit the first 6 days of the 12-day BMAA FLM training syllabus. It consists of an introduction to the sport and equipment, launch and ground handling practice, motor usage instruction, basic lectures and, all being well, should culminate in at least one solo Paramotor flight. At the end of this course most students will have the ability of sitting a 6 Day Advanced course.
Intermediate Pilots who have sat a beginner’s course or Paraglider pilots with more than 20-hours, can sit the second 6-days of the 12-day BMAA FLM training syllabus. The course includes more advanced practical flying and theory; culminating in an exam. At the end of this course students have the potential of acquiring the BMAA FLM Pilot rating.
Price includes all equipment hire logbooks and instruction.


12-Day Paramotor Course £1145
learn to paramotor uk Book Paramotoring onlineThe 12-Day course is designed for complete beginners or Paraglider pilots with less than 20 hours. The course is made up of both a 6-Day beginners course and a 6-Day Intermediate course.
The first week consists of an introduction to the sport and equipment, launch and ground handling practice, motor usage instruction, basic lectures and, all being well, should culminate in at least one solo Paramotor flight.
At the end of this course most students will have the ability of sitting a 6-Day Intermediate course. The second week consists of more advanced practical flying and theory; culminating in an exam. At the end of this course students have the potential of acquiring the BMAA FLM Pilot rating.
Price includes all equipment hire, fuel logbooks and instruction.

• All the Paramotoring courses include equipment hire and insurance, instruction and logbooks, fuel and transport to/from the flying site only.
• All the Paramotoring courses do not include accommodation, transport to the center, food, drink or personal insurance.

Students who sit a full BMAA FLM course have the opportunity to qualify as a BMAA Paramotor Pilot. The centre is unique because it does not require students to have their own equipment as it is all provided. Due to the nature of the weather and the hold it has over this sport all days that are unused are also held in credit for customers to use at a later date.

C) BMAA Student Level Course: Paramotor Days 3-5
1. Further launch and ground handling practise; demonstrate proficiency
at both forward and reverse launch.

2. Low hops continued; consistently demonstrate correct launch, control
and landing procedures with the wing from a slope no higher than 75ft.
Or:
3. Correctly complete the Paramotor Dual Flight Exercises

Paramotoring Equipment - Wiltshire, UK

The 1, 2, 4, 6 and 12-day Paramotor courses all follow the BMAA training syllabus. These training courses operate continuously in the summer, from June until September. In the winter courses continue to operate but they depend heavily upon the weather. The more advanced courses can be fragmented and students have the opportunity to complete them abroad.

Extreme Sports Café’s partner Paramotoring Centre uses the Parajet Volution paramotor, the Paramania Revolution, Swing Arcus and the Apco Thrust wings in the training school. This allows students to test the products that are on sale before deciding whether they wish to purchase them. All students’ customers are eligible for certain discounts if they sit a course and purchase equipment. Extreme Sports Café’s partner Paramotoring Centre sells all of the previously mentioned products as well as the Paramania Action GT wing, Gin One G Reserve and a wide range of other accessories.

The BMAA

What is the BMAA?
The British Microlight Aircraft Association looks after the interests of microlight owners in the UK. It is an organisation approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and has powers delegated to it to control training and airworthiness. Its aims are to further the sport of microlight aviation, keep flying costs down to a minimum for its members and to represent them in national and international matters relating to our sport.
The BMAA is supported by the Sports Council and is the Royal Aero Club's nominated delegate in all matters related to microlight aviation to the Fédération Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) which controls all aviation sporting activities worldwide and to Europe Airsports which defends the interests of sport aviation in Europe
A permanent staff, headed by a Chief Executive and based in Deddington in Oxfordshire, takes care of the day to day running of the association. Its activities are steered by a voluntary Council, members of which are elected for three-year terms at annual General meetings.

Who Can Come?

Paramotoring and Paragliding are potentially dangerous sports; Therefore The Centre has the right to refuse to accept those who do not meet the following standards:
• Customers must be at least 16 years old in order to come on a course. Those wishing to bring anyone under this age should contact us in order to discuss the options available.
• Customers must be medically and physically fit enough to take part in this sport. Paragliding and Paramotoring are adventure sports and therefore require students to be in a relatively fit physical condition. If in doubt please contact us.
• Those who suffer from potentially dangerous medical conditions must contact us before booking the course
• Those whose weight exceeds 16 stone/220lbs/100Kgs should contact us before booking.
• Those who have broken, fractured or dislocated a bone within the last year should also contact us in order to discuss their situation.
• Those who have been refused instruction at previous Paragliding, Paramotoring and other sports based schools are not permitted to sit a course at this centre.

Important Notes and Training Rules and Regulations

Personal Insurance
Extreme Sports Café’s partner UK Paramotoring Centre does not provide personal insurance cover. It must be noted that Extreme Sports Café’s partner Paramotoring Centre must see proof of insurance cover for all customers; without this they will not be allowed to sit a course.

Equipment Insurance
Extreme Sports Café’s partner UK Paramotoring Centre courses includes Equipment Insurance. All damage incurred on training equipment will be capped at an excess of £200. In the event of equipment damage there is a £200 maximum excess charge. Therefore, in the unlikely event of an accident students will only be charged a maximum of £200 no matter what the damage may be.

Training Rules and Regulations

• When under instruction with the Centre customers must accept that the instructors’ word is final.
• Customers must adhere to all site rules and regulations when under training with the Centre and act in a safe manner at all times.
• Customers must be aware that they are taking part in adventure sports and accidents can and do occur.
• Customers must accept that they are responsible for their own actions and accept to not hold the Centre responsible for any accident or injury that may occur while under training.
• Customers must act in a safe and responsible manner at all times whilst under instruction with the Centre.
• Customers must obey the 8-hour rule; they must leave at least 8 hours in between consuming alcohol and instruction or flying.
• Customers must not smoke when under direct instruction or in the proximity of flying equipment and fuel.
• The Centre reserves the right to refuse to teach any student or not to qualify any student, until that student satisfies the appropriate standards and call a halt to training in the interest of safety, as they see fit.

What to Bring?
Customers are advised to bring the following:
• Any evidence of previous experience. E.g. a logbook.
• Boots, which cover and give support the ankle.
• Long trousers, warm jumpers, jackets, gloves, hats etc.
• Any personal flying equipment. E.g. a wing/paramotor.
• A camera, sun cream and lots of water if the weather is good.
• Proof of their own insurance cover for the duration of the course.
• A determined and safe attitude!

Once we have received your deposit and booking, customers will receive further information regarding the course structure, contact details and information regarding meeting us on the first day. It is therefore fundamental that those wishing to sit a course must book in advance of the course.

As ever this sport is governed by the weather, therefore, in the event of the weather postponing training all lost days are kept in credit to be used at a later date either in Spain or the UK. However, when not training there are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area, these include Blenheim Palace, Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and many more.
