Ultralight Course

 

Extreme Sports Cafe can arrange an Ultralight Course for you in Thailand with ground school and flying time of about 20-25 hrs. The cost is 2,500-3,000 Baht per flight hour depending on the type of Ultralight. So, if you fly 2-3 hours a day then the course will take 7-10 days. For ground school, the class is about 20 hours and the tuition fee is 500 Baht per hour. Group discounts are available for Ground School. If you are doing the course alone, or would prefer to do the bulk of the work as personal study we can arrange to get you the books and this can reduce the length of your ground school tuition. This is particularrly convienient for those off you on short holidays in the Land of Smiles... But you'll have to read a lot! You will learn in the Flightstar-II ultralight (pictured here) or Zenair.

 

Facilities in Pattaya, Thailand

Fly into Pattaya Airpark for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the new "Lighthouse Restaurant." The restaurant is up on a small hill looking out across the runway. The kitchen is a Thai sala surrounded by cool shade trees and a termite mound. There is usually a nice "crosswind" breeze off the pond. This is a lovely place to relax and enjoy your hamburger or your fried rice "kow pat." We welcome you to come and enjoy watching the flying and learn more about aviation in Thailand.

Pilot Cabins & Student Accomodation.

One or our exciting features at Pattaya Airpark are the new "Fly-In Pilot Cabins." You can land and taxi right up to your pilot cabin and join us for the night or as long as you want. And our cabins are reasonably priced from 600-1,200 Baht per night with air conditioning and peaceful quiet settings overlooking the airfield.

Very soon we will arrange the camping area for people who like camping. You can either bring your own tent or use ours.  A package will be 350 Baht per person including a buffet BBQ, tent, sleeping bag, etc.
