Kite Surfing Thailand - Koh Samui |
All courses follow the IKO (International Kitesurfing Organisation) assessment system. Our instructors are IKO qualified and at the end of each course students will receive an IKO card with their achieved level. All the necessary equipment is provided for students (excluding food and drinks) and the courses last between 4 and 5 hours per day depending on the wind conditions. Students are advised to wear a hat and apply sun-cream as they will be spending a lot of time in the sun. Students must be 16 years or older, although we can teach children under 16 with their parent’s permission and presence.
Hua Thanon (south of popular Lamei beach) is nested in a huge lagoon and thus is the perfect location for kitesurfing for riders of all levels. The lagoon floor has an even depth making it perfect to learn in and improve skills. No currents and no huge fish either. The lagoon offers lots of space, as there are very few swimmers or boats. The water temperature is usually between 23 and 27 degrees. Excellent and reliable winds are between October and February. Side-onshore-Winds come mainly from the right side but don’t worry you’ll came back safely! In high tide expert kitesurfers can play with the reef-waves.
There are a lots of other activities available as well; Thai massage (perfect after kiting!), Island-Trips, Wave-riding in Chaweng, snorkeling, diving, PARTY (!!!), Water ski/Wakeboarding, Thai-cuisine courses, temples, waterfalls, Tiger park, Aquarium, Butterfly Garden, Quad-Biking, Paintball, Shopping and much much more….We don’t have to say anything about the nightlife, do we?

November to mid February -- the Northeasterly monsoons, wind ranging from 8 - 18 knots in a NE, E and tending SE in jan / feb direction. Wind blows in cycles averaging 6-10 days at a time. Wind is generally strongest in the morning / lunch time and decreasing in the afternoon. There is still some rain throughout november until mid december, this can affect the steady monsoonal winds, create sometimes squally conditions, but generally the wind is very consistent. Mid February to end of April -- Summer time, hot and no rain. If you want wind go to Hua Hin. Mid May to August – the South Westerly monsoons, winds ranging from 8 - 20knots, the rainy season during this time, more rain in May then decreasing. Wind comes from the SW to W and becomes more northerly as the season moves progresses, wind can be very good but is generally less consistent than the NW monsoon. Becareful of any storm fronts coming through, wind can increase from nothing to 40 knots suddenly. September to October -- Change over period, possibly no wind and plenty of rain. |

for all levels.. On top, the North-East Monsoon delivers steady
winds to the eastern part and between November and February you
find top conditions for all kitesurfer levels here. 
Beginner
kitesrufers enjoy hip-deep water in the huge lagoon, advanced
kitesurfers blast along the flat-water or play with the reef-wave
at high tide.
Here
in Samui you can have fun, no matter if you came on your own or
with a partner. The next hot spot is Lamei Beach - only a 5 minutes
ride away from our base. Koh Panghan the sister island of Koh
Samui which hosts the legendary full moon party each month is
only a 30min boat ride away. 
Situated
directly on the beach of Hua Thanon on the southeast coast of
Koh Samui, our 3 star boutique resort provides excellent professional
service, friendliness and the warm Thai hospitality. Its boasts
40 air-conditioned bungalows situated in a beautiful tropical,
spacious garden. They are all equipped with refrigerator, Mini
Bar, Satellite TV, hot and cold shower and a private balcony.
On top the house provides an Olympic size swimming pool, a small
fitness area, a snooker room, a Beachfront restaurant, a beach
bar and our kite School base.

You must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water.
REFUNDS
In case of adverse weather conditions, we will change the kite
surfing lesson schedule to another date.
If this is not possible then the guests will receive a refund of
the prepaid missed lessons*.

We will ask you for a 10% deposit when booking.
The
balance of the fees can be paid on arrival at our school.
