As kitesurfing grows, so does the demand for instructors. Many
more kiteboarding centres are now asking for fully qualified kiteboarding
instructors to train their clients. Becoming qualified is a great
way to improve your chances of employment teaching at water sports
centres around the world.
Are
you bored with what you’re doing day in day out? Stuck in
a rut? Job not planning out the way you thought it would. Maybe
it’s time for a change of direction. Kitesurfing maybe a
9-5 job but it’s like no other. Days at the office don’t
seem so bad when the sand is between your toes, the wind is blowing
and the crystal water is inviting you to play.
Our
Kitesurfing Centre on Boracay..
The first kitesurf and IKO Kitesurfing Intructor
ITC centre in Asia. We are recognised by the IKO (International
Kiteboarding Organisation) and the BKSA (British Kitesurfing Association)
to teach beginners through to instructors. Fully equipped
with 2006 Naish training kites and boards, we can also offer great
deals on new equipment to our instructor candidates.
Perfect kitesurfing setting
The centre is perfectly located right on
the beach. There is a grassy rigging area, along with changing
facilities, toilets and board storage, and you can get drinks
and snacks next door.
The shallow white sand beach extends out into the sea, giving
waist deep water across most of the bay, perfect for learning.
And thanks to the fringing reef, the sailing area is nice and
flat. For the more experienced, there are good waves on the reef.
Oh, and the views are stunning!
Course
Eligibility
Personal ability - Solid riding, self sufficient,
competent kitesurfing in all wind ranges and weather conditions,
hold an upwind course, able to deep water self rescue, have own
equipment, have a years experience within the sport. RYA Powerboat
course.
Prior
Accreditation
Previous experience and qualifications will
be taken into account and will be accredited against modules or
logged hours at the discretion of the course trainers.
 
Kitesurfing
on Bulabog Beach
All windsurfing and kitesurfing takes place
at Bulabog Beach, a 2 mile wide bay, with chest deep water, protected
by a fringing reef. The equipment is new, the sailing area perfect,
the tuition is second to none and the scenery is stunning. We've
never seen a place better suited to these courses.

formed to offer some of the best diving and sailing conditions

Our facilities on Boracay are first
class. 
Calypso Diving is a PADI 5star IDC centre
located right in the middle of White Beach, with an unrivalled
reputation for quality of instruction and safety, they are one
of the top instructor development centres in Asia. Only 5 minutes
trike ride across the island is Bulabog Beach and this is where
you will learn to windsurf or kitesurf. The sailing area is ideal;
thanks to a fringing reef, most teaching is done in the chest
deep waters of the lagoon, making this an easy and safe learning
environment.
Boracay -
Island Life
Boracay offers a unique lifestyle for
locals and visitors.
Having not fallen to the ravages of mass
tourism, Boracay has managed to maintain its beach community atmosphere.
Sandy paths connect the island and everyone walks. Accommodation,
training centres and meeting places are all within 5 minutes of
each other, all located along White Beach, a beautiful stretch
of powder white sand.
Although
the courses will take up a lot of your time during the day, the
island can offer a great deal in evening entertainment. Choose
your dinner
from Mongolian, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Filipino, French, Swiss…
the list is endless. Then move on to one of the friendly bars
to either chill out, dance or try your hand at 'singalong', you're
always made to feel welcome by warm hearted Filipinos.
Accommodation
Your own beach bungalow, with en suite bathroom.
All rooms have a fan, double bed, mosquito
screens, veranda and hammock, they are comfortable and private.
The dive centre is a 2-minute walk away, the sailing beach is
5 minutes by trike, and you are within easy walking distance of
many bars and restaurants.
