In this course, we will introduce you to the basics of rock climbing. The emphasis of the course will be to discuss the specific safety issues inherent in the sport of rock-climbing, rock-climbing equipment and its uses, basic climbing knots, rock climbing language, belaying, top-roping, basic climbing movement, and basic rappelling.
The main focus of the course will be to teach you rock climbing safety and the essential skill of belaying. By the end of the course, you should understand the physics of belaying and climbing safely. This course is ideal for someone with little or no climbing experience, as it will serve as the building block for your future climbing endeavors.

Our introduction to Top Rope Climbing and Rappelling course is meant to give you a fun day out on the rock where you will be introduced to the basics of rock climbing and rappelling.
The morning portion of the course will be spent climbing and learning techniques that parallel the Introduction to Top Rope Climbing course. After a break for lunch, you will take a long hike up to the top of the climbing area and learn the basics of setting up a rappel system. The skills you learn in the morning climbing session will allow you to experience the rappelling activity safely. You will finish the day with an exhilarating 50 meter rappel into the mouth of a monstrous cave.
This is an ideal course for 1st timers who just want a taste of some of the fun rock climbing has to offer. Price

This course will take you through all of the basics of the morning portion of the Introduction to Top Rope Climbing course. Our focus will be on introducing you to the most basic concepts of rock climbing.
After a short lunch break, we will take you to visit the Buddhist Muang On Cave, which is a deep cave filled with Buddha images. It is a very holy site for the locals. After that, you have the choice of visiting the Sankamphaeng Hot Springs or Tad Moei Waterfall.
In the cold season, we recommend the hot springs, where you can soak in warm spring water, and relax with papaya salad, ice cream and a whole slew of other tasty Thai treats.
In the dry season, we recommend the waterfalls where a short jungle trek takes you to a beautiful ice cold waterfall. Here you can lounge under the falls, cooling off and enjoy the sunshine.

| Intensive introduction to Rock Climbing - 3 day course. |
This course is a fantastic introduction to the sport of rock climbing for the student with a serious interest in pursuing a future in rock climbing. The focus of the course is to introduce the student to the many types of climbing situations a climber can be faced with. This will prepare climbers for future climbing outings.
The class includes a copy of How to Rock Climb written by rock climbing pioneer John Long. A 1 meter length of 6mm rock climbing rope is also included so that the student can practice techniques and knot tying.
The class is run over a 4-day period with the option for a rest day between the 2nd and 3rd day.
Skills discussed in this course will parallel those learned in Introduction to Top Rope Rock Climbing and Intermediate Top Rope Rock Climbing, Introduction to Lead Climbing, and Multi-Pitch Climbing. There will also be a discussion in advanced rappelling techniques, building safe rock climbing anchor systems, advanced rock climbing knots, and increased rock climbing safety awareness.
The first day of the course will serve as an introduction to the basics of rock climbing and its equipment. The focus of the first day will be to ensure that the student has a strong introduction to rock climbing safety and belaying. The second day will introduce the student to the more difficult task of lead climbing and discuss the different safety risks inherent in the activity. The third day will introduce the student to the exhilarating experience of multi-pitch rock climbing in which climbers must climb to the top of a cliff in stages, sometimes climbing as high as 60 meters.

| Intensive introduction to Rock Climbing and safety - 5 day course. |
This is the best possible introduction to a wide variety of rock climbing concepts for the student climber. Students who finish this course will have received broad exposure to the sport of rock climbing, its equipment, techniques, safety concerns and risks. The course includes a copy of How To Rock Climb written by rock climbing pioneer John Long. A 1 meter length of 6mm climbing rope is included for knot tying practice and skills practice.
This course is a technique and safety intensive introduction to the sport of rock climbing. This course is a more detailed introduction to rock climbing than the 3 - day course. Each skill will be given more attention.
The first day will be very similar to the three day course and the focus will be to introduce the student to the equipment and techniques that they will use in the following four days of the course. Days 2 and 3 will focus on lead climbing and more advanced rock climbing movement. Day four will focus on multi-pitch climbing techniques similar to those learned in the 3 day course. Day 5 will focus on more multi-pitch climbing and lead climbing techniques. Students will be given the option of lead climbing on their own multi-pitch climb The lead climbing portion of the course will be taught over a two day period to solidify the student’s lead climbing abilities.
