Spain Skydiving Tandem Empuriabrava
Spain Skydiving – Tandem Jumps, IFF & AFF Courses - Costa Brava, near Barcelona.

Extreme Sports Cafe operate in partnership with the team at CPCB (Centro de Paracaidismo Costa Brava) located in Northern Spain at Empuriabrava, north of Barcelona. Ideally located on the Mediterranean coastline and on the foothills of the Pyrenees. Skydive Empuriabrava.

  • It is not only cheap when you get there, but its cheap to get there (EasyJet & Go offer great prices to Barcelona whilst Ryanair do cheap flights to Perpignan). ESC can offer competitive rates for car hire and accommodation in Spain with their travel partners. Ask for details.

  • The British Parachute Association was established to organise, govern and further the advancement of parachuting in the UK. In order to skydive at a BPA affiliated drop zone in the UK, you must have been on a BPA approved course, given by BPA Rated Instructors. 
  • Richie Pym & his team are British Parachute Association Rated Instructors, so the qualifications you attain in Spain are valid world-wide meaning you will be able to jump when you return home and ensuring you won’t have to complete a costly conversion course.

Spain Skydiving – Tandem Jumps, IFF & AFF Courses - near Madrid.

Extreme Sports Cafe operate in partnership with the team at Skydive Lillo which is ideally situated, as it is close to Madrid but just outside of the Madrid air traffic control area, giving them freedom for altitude flights. 

  • Lillo is only 96Km / 50min from Madrid with fairly easy connections. It is only 1 hour by car from Madrid's Barajas International Airport. There are various buses that go through Lillo and the Villacañas railway station, which has more than 10 trains daily from Madrid, and is only 12 km away.
  • All of our teaching staff are professionals in the sport - they are all champions, world record holders and/or competative team flyers in addition to having many years of experience as instructors. Even if you decide to come by yourself our friendly team of staff will immediately make you feel at home. 
  • The DZ operate two aircraft, Pilatus Turbo Porter B2-H4 PT6A-34 full time at the dropzone. Both have capacity for 10 skydivers and takes only 12 minutes to 13.000 ft 
  • For our English speaking students our courses are taught in English by British instructors. More specifically for our British students, the AFF course syllabus adheres to the standards set out by the British Parachute Association (BPA). This means that on returning home you will have all the necessary skills to meet the BPA licence requirements. As a multi-lingual school we also offer courses in German, French, Portuguese and naturally Spanish.

  • Physical requirements: No heart problems. Always let us know if you have any physical handicaps. (This does not necessarily exclude the potential jumper but may change the procedure of the jump).

Spain Skydiving – Tandem Jumps, IFF & AFF Courses - Seville.

Skydive Spain near Seville, has several key advantages... its near several major airports, a large landing area, highest altitude in Spain, turbine aircraft, no tremontana winds, no snow or cold weather.

  • La Juliana dropzone operates 7 days a week from 9am until sunset.
  • The DZ always has a turbine aircraft on the DZ. Excellent for team training, back-backs possible and  2 annual boogies a year.
  • Highest altitude in Europe to get that extra freefall time in - very Freefly friendly. Very helpful and friendly staff, 15,000ft
  • Aircraft: Fleet: 3x Dornier G92. Our Dornier G92 will  Based at Target Skysports for the British summer, this aircraft climbs to altitude in 12 minutes and can hold 15 people, returns to Spain in the autumn when the main season picks up.

Skydive Seville - A.F.F. Restrictions/Limitations

  • Average Level of fitness

  • Maximum weight: 15 stone (95 Kilos)  

So, what’s it to be and where’s good for you? 

  • A Skydiving Tandem Jump: Where you can be in the air and jumping out of a plane strapped to an instructor quicker than you can say 'I'm not sure about this....'
  • A Skydiving I.F.F.  (Introduction to Free Fall) Course: This 2 day Level 1 Course is designed to give you a taste of our sport: Ground Training & an AFF level 1 Jump with two instructors.
  • Or perhaps a Skydiving A.F.F. (Accelerated FreeFall) Course: where on your first jump you leap out of a plane 2.5 miles up in the air with two highly experienced instructors, quickly followed by your cameraman. 
  • Learn in a Wind Tunnel..... Vertical wind tunnels (indoor skydiving or bodyflight): You can always improve your skydiving freefall skills, or simply start to learn to skydive in a Wind Tunnel...

Skydiving Certification - National parachuting associations exist in many countries, many affiliated with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), to promote their sport. In most cases, national representative bodies, as well as prudent local dropzone operators, require that participants carry certification, attesting to their training, their level of experience in the sport, and their proven competence. Anyone who cannot produce such bona-fides is treated as a student, requiring close supervision. Skydiving Certification - All Extreme Sports Cafe Skydiving Courses follow the relevant skydiving guidelines set by the governing body for the relevant area/country. The USPA (United States Parachute Association) and The BPA (British Parachute Association) are 2 of the most common skydiving bodies, issued certifications and affiliated centers found all over the world.
