  • Skydiving in Thailand offers untold advantages, firstly we have 360 Jumpable days per year. Generally speaking, the best time to visit Thailand is from November to February when the northeast monsoon is blowing cool, dry air which serves as a respite from the heat. During this cool season, the temperature ranges from 18°C to 32°C in Bangkok.Thailand Skydiving Tandem
  • The summer period, or hot and dry season, is from March to June. At this time temperatures in Bangkok average around 34°C, but can often reach 40°C with the humidity levels of 75%.
  • From July to October is the monsoonal season when most of Thailand's annual rainfall is accumulated. The humidity averages just under 90%, with temperatures averaging around 29°C in Bangkok. The Thais will tell you they have 3 seasons - The hot Season, the very hot season and the too hot season!!!
  • Aircraft: A Pilatus Turbo Porter with the larger PT6A-27 Engine carrying 7-10 jumpers to 13,000 feet (Standard Exit Altitude) and back down in 18-22 minutes depending on ambient air temperature, piloted by our highly experienced jump pilots.
  • Because we have multinational staff we can also help you to achieve the licensing requirements of most European or other recognised parachuting authority. In fact we can assure you of compliance with the licensing requirements from your home country and will certify your logbook and supply copies of your training records and, should you require it a DVD of your graduation (Level 7) skydive.

We offer Tandem Skydives, Introduction to Free Fall courses and the full Accelerated Free Fall program, as well as skydive coaching, equipment hire and full skydiving holidays in Thailand...

  • Skydiving is an all day activity and we are open for jumping from 0800 hours till 1700 hours daily. We recommend you arrive at the centre as early as possible as we work on a "first come, first served" basis. Many factors govern who will jump and when, including time required for briefing/training, availability of parachute equipment, Instructor availability, and of course suitable weather.
  • The staff will do their best to keep you informed and give reasonable estimates of your likelihood of jumping and when but certain factors are outside our control (Cloud cover, High winds etc) may make it unsuitable for certain categories of jumping, however rest assured we will do our best to get you jumped as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Skydiving Certification - National parachuting associations exist in many countries, many affiliated with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), to promote their sport. In most cases, national representative bodies, as well as prudent local dropzone operators, require that participants carry certification, attesting to their training, their level of experience in the sport, and their proven competence. Anyone who cannot produce such bona-fides is treated as a student, requiring close supervision. Skydiving Certification - All Extreme Sports Cafe Skydiving Courses follow the relevant skydiving guidelines set by the governing body for the relevant area/country. The USPA (United States Parachute Association) and The BPA (British Parachute Association) are 2 of the most common skydiving bodies, issued certifications and affiliated centers found all over the world.

Completely revised, softcover, 5.5 x 8.5, 400 pages, 260 illustrations, four-color cover.

From the Author - Parachuting / Skydiving is continuously growing & evolving.

Dan Poynter and I have attempted to bring to you, the reader (novice or experienced), the latest information available which covers many aspects of the sport. It is our hope that this book will be used by you as a tool to increase your learning about the sport. We have addressed several training and controversial issues openly and honestly, attempting to give full merit to both (or more) viewpoints when more than one right answer is available. This book is a "living document" and will continue to change as the sport changes and grows. Each successive issue (from the very first one that I used to study the sport over 21 years ago) has been written with that philosophy in mind; one of continuous improvement.

We hope you like the book, and if you can think of anything else to add, please feel free to contact one of us with your suggestions! Blue, Clear, and Calm Skies to y'all.
