Skydiving Auckland New Zealand Tandem, First Jump Course & AFF
Skydive Auckland is New Zealand's premier skydiving centre, open all year round and is situated 40 minutes north of Auckland at Parakai airfield. They are a professional centre dedicated to offering the ultimate experience in all things skydiving at a purpose built facility.
- Skydive Auckland offer top quality services and facilities, enabling both first time and experienced skydivers to enjoy the ultimate high in a safe, yet fun-filled environment. Open every day except xmas day, boxing day, new years day and the 2nd of January from sunrise to sunset, weather permitting.
- They are affiliated to the New Zealand Parachute Industry Association (NZPIA) meaning the training curriculum and instructors are all NZPIA approved. All equipment is maintained to NZPIA standards and is of the latest designs. The DZ use fast turbine aircraft with a proven track record to get you safely, comfortably and quickly to your jump altitude.
Operating from two awesome locations on the North Island of New Zealand, makes it possible to start your training at one facility and continue at the other. Of course the views from the aircraft and in freefall are very different, but equally spectacular!
- Taupo, on the central plateau where breathtaking lake and snow capped mountains provide truly amazing background views! Taupo has excellent nightlife, good accommodation options, and an abundance of outdoor adventure activities to choose from. A real adventure destination!

- Weight: There is a weight limit of 100kg/220 pounds.
- Age: Over 18 years old.
- Be able to speak & write English.
- No alcohol 8 hours prior to skydiving.
- No scuba diving 24 hrs before skydiving.
- Any medical conditions should be discussed with us before booking and may require evaluation by a Medical Practitioner and / or our instructional staff.
- Parachuting contract to be completed before skydiving.
Tandem Skydive Limits/ Restriction.
- Weight: There is a weight limit of 100kg/220 pounds.
- Age: Over 14 years old. (guardian's written consent on our forms if under 18 and depending on harness fitting properly)
- No alcohol 8 hours prior to skydiving.
- No scuba diving 24 hrs before skydiving.
- Any medical conditions should be discussed with us before booking and may require evaluation by a Medical Practitioner and / or our instructional staff.
- Parachuting contract to be completed before skydiving.

We do appreciate the frustration that delays can bring but please be assured that our primary responsibility is for the safety of all jumpers. In the event of you being unable to make your jump on your scheduled day due to weather or technical issues the DZ will re-schedule an alterative date with you.

- Or perhaps a Skydiving A.F.F. (Accelerated Free Fall) Course: Where on your first jump you leap out of a plane 2.5 miles up in the air with two highly experienced instructors, quickly followed by your cameraman.
- Learn in a Wind Tunnel..... Vertical wind tunnels (indoor skydiving or bodyflight): You can always improve your skydiving freefall skills, or simply start to learn to skydive in a Wind Tunnel...
