Skydiving New Zealand Auckland and Taupo

Our New Zealand Skydiving partners operate from two awesome locations on the North Island of New Zealand. This makes it possible to start your training at one facility and continue at the other. Of course the views from the aircraft and in freefall are very different, but equally spectacular.

• Lake Taupo. On the central plateau where breathtaking lake and snow capped mountains provide truly amazing background views. Taupo has excellent nightlife, good accommodation options and an abundance of outdoor adventure activities to choose from.
• Auckland, Parakai. Conveniently located just a 30 min drive from the centre of Auckland. Again the views are spectacular, take in Auckland City itself, the beautiful beaches of the West Coast, Kaipara Harbour, North to the Bay of islands, the famed Hauraki Gulf with its plethora of islands and even the Coromandel Peninsula.
• The drop zones are affiliated with the New Zealand Parachute Industry Association. (NZPIA) The skydiving training curriculum and all instructors are NZPIA approved. All equipment is of the latest designs and maintained to NZPIA standards. Fast turbine aircraft with proven track records are used to get you safely, comfortably and quickly to your jump altitude.

Skydiving New Zealand Courses

Skydiving Accelerated Free Fall Course (L1-8) $2,792.00
Includes all training and tuition, instructor supervision, aircraft slots, equipment hire, parachute packing, logbook AND in-air DVD video of Levels 2-8.

Skydiving CST International ‘A’ Cert. Component (Levels 9-25) $1,763.00
Includes instructor supervision and task briefing/debriefing of Aircraft exits, freefall tasks, 10 level  canopy flight tasks/drills program, aircraft slots, equipment hire, parachute packing PLUS 5 x Coached skydives all with in-air DVD.

Skydiving Introduction To Freefall Course $898.00
Includes full 1st jump theory training/ tuition, Jump 1 (Orientation) and Jump 2 of the AFF Course, aircraft slots, equipment hire, logbooks,  parachute packing and in-air DVD of Jump 2.

Skydive Auckland is located only 30 minutes north of Auckland at Parakai airfield. They are a professional centre dedicated to offering the ultimate experience in all things skydiving at a purpose built facility.

Skydiving Taupo New Zealand Tandem, First Jump Course & AFF

Skydive Taupo is a small, owner operated company that has a focus on making your skydive tandem experience unforgettable. With a small crew of professional staff, they are able to add the finishing touches to your experience. Their goal is to make sure you have the best time possible.

• Minutes after landing, you can relive your skydive on the massive cinema screen ensuring your Tandem Skydiving Experience, is second to none. 
  
• A personalised Hand-cam DVD capturing your whole Skydive Experience, the plane ride, the freefall, the canopy flight, landing and you get to choose the music for your DVD, from the DZ-library too. 
  
• FREE Transportation Service - The DZ will pick you up in the Skydive Taupo Limousine, transporting you to the dropzone in style. After your skydive, they will drop you back into the town centre as part of the free transportation service.

A.F.F. Restrictions/Limitations 

• Weight: There is a weight limit of 100kg/220 pounds.
  
• Min Age: 16 years old. (guardian's written consent on our forms if under 18)
  
• Be able to speak & write English.
  
• No alcohol 8 hours prior to skydiving.
  
• No scuba diving 24 hrs before skydiving.
  
• Any medical conditions should be discussed with us before booking and may require evaluation by a Medical Practitioner and / or our instructional staff.
  
• Parachuting contract to be completed before skydiving.

Tandem Skydive Limits/ Restriction. 

• Weight: There is a weight limit of 100kg/220 pounds. 

  

• Min Age: 14 years old. (guardian's written consent on our forms if under 18 and depending on harness fitting properly) 
  
• No alcohol 8 hours prior to skydiving.
  
• No scuba diving 24 hrs before skydiving.
  
• Any medical conditions should be discussed with us before booking and may require evaluation by a Medical Practitioner and / or our instructional staff.
  
• Parachuting contract to be completed before skydiving.

We do appreciate the frustration that delays can bring but please be assured that our primary responsibility is for the safety of all jumpers. In the event of you being unable to make your jump on your scheduled day due to weather or technical issues the DZ will re-schedule an alterative date with you.
