PADI Entry Level Courses

PADI Scuba Diver Course €280

If time is limited, this is the best way to obtain an entry level diving qualification. On completion of this scuba diving course you will be able to dive anywhere in the world, to a maximum depth of 12 metres, with a PADI professional. 

Training includes knowledge development, 3 confined dives and 2 open water dives. 

• Course Duration: Minimum 2-3 days / 3 confined open water sessions / 2 dives.

PADI Open Water Diver Course €330

The most recognised entry level certification in the world! This scuba diving course is a continuation from the Scuba Diver course. On completion you are qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres, anywhere in the world. 

Training includes knowledge development, 5 confined dives and 4 open water dives.

• Course Duration: 4-5 days / 5 confined open water sessions / 4 dives.

PADI National Geographic Diver Course €390

Join an elite group of divers who are more than just underwater tourists, but explorers, adventurers and conservationists. Once you have met all the requirements of the Open Water course, continue your adventure and learn additional buoyancy and navigation skills which allow you to get closer to the action.

Emergency First Response €115

PADI Rescue Diver Course €355

This scuba diving course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this diving course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. 

Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.

PADI  Master Scuba Diver

• Minimum Requirements: 50 logged dives.
  
• Minimum qualifications: PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization), Five PADI Specialty Diver certifications.
  
• Minimum Age: 12 years old.

PADI Divemaster Course €700

Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. 

PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. 

• Course Duration: 2-4 weeks.
  
• Minimum Requirements: 20 logged dives. 
• Course Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver.(or qualifying certifications from another training organisation)

PADI Specialty Courses

• You can choose from the following list: National Geographic Specialty, Enriched Air Nitrox, Digital Underwater Photography Specialty, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, Drift Diver, Boat Diver, Multi Level Diver, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigator, Equipment Specialty, Search and Recovery Diver or Dry Suit Diver.

Scuba Review €105

The PADI Scuba Review is designed to update a divers knowledge and skills, especially after a period of diving inactivity. As a general rule, any diver who has not been diving in the last 12 months will be asked to complete a scuba review before boat diving or additional training such as the Advanced Open Water course. The program consists of 3 parts:

• A review of dive theory with a PADI professional.
  
• A confined water dive with a PADI professional, including a review of diving skills from the Open Water course.
  
• A supervised Open Water dive to review buoyancy and correct weighting for the local environment.
  
• Course Duration: Up to 1 day 
  
• Course Prerequisite: Medical Statement (Courses)

Certification Fees and Materials

• All PADI scuba diving courses are subject to an additional €35 certification. It is compulsory that each student possess their own copy of the required materials, which can be purchased in our pro shop if required.

General Information (Law and the environment)

All diving and snorkelling in the area is covered by law 102 of the National Parks of Egypt. Below is a list of the laws that we have added for your safety and for the preservation of marine life:

• No fish feeding.
  
• No disposal of food or rubbish in the sea.
  
• No collecting of shells or corals. 
  
• No touching of corals or marine life. 
  
• No fishing. 
  
• No spear fishing.

Diving Safety

• No diving deeper than 30m (100ft) as per law set by the EUSF, no decompression diving, a safety stop on all dives, no gloves, always dive with an alternate air source, surface with a reserve in your tank (50 Bar), ascend on the rope or near the reef, and do not ascend under the boats or in the blue.

Current flying after diving recommendations

• Single dives; a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 12 hours is suggested. Repetitive dives, and / or multi-day dives; A minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours is suggested.

• We can adapt to your needs. For example, a PADI Open Water Diver course takes five full days to complete; these days can be five consecutive days (Monday to Friday) or two whole weekends. 
  
• Our rate for beginners’ courses is all-inclusive. This means your scuba course fee covers registration, all training materials, scuba equipment rental, air fees and certification card. 
  
• At Extreme Sports Cafe's partner Scuba Diving Schools you will always find a start date to suit you, we run scuba courses all year round and start new courses every week.
