Extreme Medical is a UK network of some of the most highly qualified and experienced paramedics.
They are fully insured for medical indemnity and public liability through Lloyds, a copy of their insurances is available to customers.
Extreme Medical vehicles ALL contain a state registered paramedic working at emergency care practitioner level. Unlike many other private providers they do not use first aiders, and do not use so called 'extended' trained EMT's and pretend they are paramedics and Extreme Medical do not use EMT's who have done a five day course as opposed to the NHS 12 week course.
All of Extreme Medicals staff are experienced in working in harsh and remote environments. Most have either an extreme sports or military background, which means they can operate where other companies cannot.
They mainly use vehicles made by Land Rover due to their off road ability. All are further adapted for off road use using the best equipment money can buy. They are further equipped with full communications, GPS and satellite navigation equipment. They also have two 4x4 quad bikes, fully marked and equipped to get to places even the Land Rovers can't!
