Our partner Paramotor and Paragliding School is owned and operated by Dave Dennis. His love for flying started 24 years ago, flying microlights in the Canterbury region. In 1990 he discovered Paragliding and knew this was his career path. From the early 1990's he began working throughout Australia and New Zealand as a Commercial Paragliding Tandem pilot and Instructor and is now seen as one of NZ's most experienced paragliding teachers. He is also New Zealand's first certified Paramotoring Instructor to be rated within the NZHGPA organisation.

Tandem Flight Paramotoring Christchurch New Zealand: An action attraction that tops Christchurch's list of adventure activities. Our partner New Zealand School call flying Tandem, Trial Instructional Flights. Flying with the instructor provides the easiest and safest way to experience the thrill of paramotoring.
- What to wear: Warm wind proof clothing especially in winter and sturdy footwear, tramping boots or a pair of runners. A flight suit is provided for you.

- Do I need a license to fly powered paragliders?
- Yes, in NZ a paramotor license is required to fly legally.
- How long does it take to get PPG trained?
- A full paramotor license will take around 10 days. A conversion course for paraglider pilots will take 3 days.
- How long can I fly my paramotor with a full tank of fuel?

- Approximately 3 to 6 hours depending on the size of motor, the weight of the pilot and the type of wing.
- How much does a paramotor weigh?
- Without fuel a paramotor weighs 22+kg but you only feel the weight of the motor when you are stationary. Once you are running or are in flight the wing will take the motors weight.
- Is a paramotor easy to transport?
- Our propeller cages are designed to be dismantled into 6 parts in approximately 3 minutes. You can easily transport your paramotor in a car boot, back seat of a car or in a suitcase.
- Where can I store my personal aircraft?
- A Garage, basement, room closet or a suitcase is suitable.
