Australia Paramotoring Beginner Course $2,690
The 12 day Paramotor course is a zero feet to flying solo, a course designed for complete beginners who wish to master the wonderful sport of Paramotoring. If you are a complete beginner then this Paramotor course is the one for you. In the 12 days you will cover non-motorised flight achieving the HGFA Novice certificate and Motorised flight,  you can choose either foot or wheel based Paramotoring.

• The the first 5 - 7 days of the course you do small flights non motorised and towed launching.
  
• When you are competent with Ground skills, you then proceed to using the motor. The reason is so the wing spends more time in the air and not in the propellor.
  
• You will be taught necessary Pre-flight and Pre- take off checks along with emergencies of engine outs. You will learn when and where to fly and know how to land in emergency situations when an engine out may occur.
  
• We have at our convenience huge open spaces for trouble free flight and have the best weather conditions in the country for Paramotoring and no Para-waiting. 

This Paramotor course price includes, all modern near new equipment hire, training DVD (prior to course) and instruction. 
The Paramotor course price Does Not include HGFA insurance of $150 which will include workbooks when you join. (Hang Gliding Federation of Australia) 

Australia Paramotoring Course Notes

• Don't take short cuts with Aviation as your life depends upon good instruction in good conditions in a realistic time frame. 
  
• Most people will complete the course in 12 days but as each person is an individual in their progression of training, some could take less or longer to learn.  
  
• You must achieve the HGFA novice requirements Most students do this in 7 days gaining a restricted Paragliding license. 
  
• Please do contact us for scheduled course dates. The Paramotor courses run the same week as our Licensed Paragliding courses, as the first 5 days are relevant to Paramotoring, especially foot launched Paramotoring courses. 
  
• Please do contact us with your dates for an unscheduled course date. 
  
• To be issued an HGFA International License after your course you need to become a full or short term member of the Hanggliding Federation of Australia, which gives you $10,000,000 public liability insurance. You need this cover to legally fly in Australia.

Brief outline of the Paramotor Training Syllabus

PRACTICAL

PRE FLIGHT

• Canopy ground handling. ( Very Important)
  
• Pre take off Paramotor control, simulated launches.
  
• Post landing control of paramotor.
  
• Parking the paramotor, shut down procedures.
  
• Un-powered slope take offs until proficient to HGFA Paragliding Novice certificate.

FLIGHT TASKS

• 3 powered flights over 100m AGL 90º turns.
  
• 3 Target landings.
  
• Minimum 10 logged paramotor flights.
  
• Demonstrate 360º turns.
  
• Demonstrate power off landings.
  
• Demonstrate forward & reverse launches.
  
• Complete a Final Check flight in all skills.

EXAMINATION

• No insurance is covered in damage to yourself or hired equipment. You will be required to cover any damages to equipment due to negligence.
