Peru Paragliding Tandem Flight Lima Miraflores
Our Peru Tandem Paragliding flights are around 10 minutes long and you have an experienced instructor with you for the whole flight.Tandem Flights in Miraflores generally run from June to December from midday. If you are staying in the Miraflores area then we may also be able to pick you up. When conditions are no good for paragliding in Miraflores, we use an alternate site for Tandems, at the Pachacamac valley. The Pachacamac valley is 40km at south of Lima. You depart from Miraflores at 9:30am and return to Miraflores around 12:30pm. Pachacamac Valley Tandems generally run from January to mid May.

Peru Paragliding Lima- Tandem Paragliding Flight
A Tandem Paragliding flight is the easiest and safest way to feel the thrill of soaring like a bird. No experience needed. A simple safety briefing, a few steps and you’re airborne, flying in a Paraglider. Be sure to bring your camera!

Peru Paragliding Courses Lima Miraflores
Peru Paragliding Lima- 1-Day Paragliding Course $140
Experience paragliding flight in a simple and safe way. You will be taught the basics and will fly on your own safely, a few feet above the ground. This is also a great way to find out if Paragliding is the sport for you.
This 1-Day Paragliding course includes:
- 3-5 solo glides on a small dune (120ft) in Lurin south of Lima, under instructor supervision.
- 1 Paragliding Tandem flight over Costa Verde Miraflores or Pachacamac.
- Transports to the flying sites.
- Departure from Miraflores is at 8:00am.
- Max Group Size 4.
Peru Paragliding Lima- Beginner Paragliding Course $680 This beginner Paragliding course is a 6-8 day Eliminatory Pilots course and is designed to teach you to be a safe and confident pilot. On this Paragliding Course you will learn, basic paragliding techniques and the basics of meteorology and aerodynamic principles which, will give you a good understanding of how a paraglider flies. At the end of this paragliding course, you will be able to make independent flights safely, under supervision of a Paragliding instructor.
- For the first 2 days, we go to a small dune (120ft) in Lurin, 40km south of Lima, where you will learn how to take off, turn and land a Paraglider.
- For the next 2 days we will go to the Pachacamac valley, up in the mountains, where you will apply the Paragliding techniques you've already learned and make high altitude flights, from 100m to 400m.
- Next, depending on the weather conditions, we'll go to the Costa Verde ridge in Miraflores. Here Paragliding Tandem flights will be used to give you greater understand and you will learn more about ground handling, take off, manoeuvres and precise landings for Paragliding.
- Then when your instructor feels you are ready to fly on your own, you will do your first solo flights, controlled by radio, over the Costa Verde ridge. You will alternate between ground handling and high solo flights to improve your skills and provide you with the necessary experience for further independent and safe flying.
This Beginner Peru Paragliding course includes:
- 6-8 practical and 3 theoretical classes, which can be taken any day of the week.
- Use of Paragliding Equipment: Paraglider, Harness, Helmet and Radio.
- Paragliding Flight manual.
- Transport to the different flying sites.
- Beginners training certificate to apply for a license from the APVL (Free Flight Peruvian Association)
- Max Group Size 2.

- Min Age: 14 years old (with parents signed permission)
- Physically able.
- High-top boots.
- Spirit of adventure.
Peru Paragliding Lima Miraflores Notes
- Paragliding is a weather dependent sport and flying only takes place if the conditions are suitable. Please do allow an extra day in case of bad weather conditions. If the weather is not suitable for your date then our partner Peru Paragliding School will re-schedule for the next day or another date with you.
- Expect to be asked about health matters before you sign on at our partner Peru Paragliding School.
- If you suffer from heart related problems, epilepsy or any other medical condition, which may cause difficulty you should consult your doctor first.
- Paragliding and drugs do not mix. Your instructor will not let you fly if you have consumed alcohol that day, or if they suspect that you have taken drugs.
