Paragliding Tandem Flight: Thrill Seeker XXXX
For those that want an adrenaline rush. This thrill packed experience is not for the faint hearted. 
Filled with high-speed spiral dives, wing overs, and other aerial acrobatics, this 20 minute adventure is guaranteed to nearly overdose even the most serious adrenaline junkie. If you suffer from motion sickness, this is not for you but if you want pure excitement this is the one.

Trial Instructional Paramotor Tandem Flight XXX 
Learn the basics of powered paragliding under the supervision of your instructor and learn why this sport is the fastest growing aviation sport in the world. As a NZHGPA student member you will learn how the paramotor is launched, controlled and landed, safe flying practices and NZ air law. You will also be given the opportunity to fly the powered paraglider using the special duel controls. Experience sport flying at its best and learn why Paramotoring has no equal in the world of motorised aviation.
- Maximum weight: 85kg Duration: 30min

Paragliding Tandem Flight Requirements
- To jog 30 feet on a no wind day or slowly walk off on a windy day. Maximum weight is 120 kg for free flying and 85kg for a paramotor trial instructional tandem flight. Our youngest passenger was 4 years old and our oldest is 90.
- What to wear: Warm wind proof clothing especially in winter and Sturdy footwear. – tramping boots or a pair of runners. A flight suit is provided.
- Transport: If you don´t have transport, no problem. We provide a free pickup service from central Christchurch.

1-Day Introductory Paragliding Course $NZ280
An introduction to paragliding, designed for safe solo flying under radio supervision. 
- Duration: 4 hrs. 4 training hill flights + 1 high flight.
- Should you wish another high flight then its an extra $40 per flight.
- What to bring: suitable footwear - tramping boots or runners, loose fitting clothes, water, lunch and plenty of enthusiasm.
Your exciting day starts with Flight simulator work and basic ground handling. Your airborne paragliding experience begins with a number of small flights, gradually launching higher up our training slopes to a maximum of 120 ft.
Once sufficient skills are shown on our training slopes, the budding pilot flies from our main paragliding club site - Taylors Mistake, 650Ft AGL while under the instructor's guidance. All flights are radio supervised.
PG1 Paragliding Course - Novice Paragliding Pilot Licence $NZ680
After successful completion of this PG1 course you are able to fly solo but only under instructor supervision. 
- Duration: 3 days. 10 to 12 flights total and including equipment hire.
- Exam and certificate on completion.
- Licence valid for 6 months.
The pilot will show the following skills after their Paragliding course completion:
- Consistent take off, landings and directional control.
- Able to assess weather conditions.
- Able to evaluate launch and landing areas.
- Demonstrate 5 point pre flight check.
- Demonstrate a safe attitude to paragliding.
PG2 Paragliding Course - International Paragliding Pilot Licence $NZ1,800
Learn to fly and receive your PG2 rating which allows you to fly solo with out instructor supervision.
- Duration: 6 – 8 days weather permitting. Requirement: PG1 rating.
- The course cost includes equipment hire, free international rating card and logbook.
- On completion the qualified pilot will receive NZHGPA rating card and certificate.
- The course is equivalent to a IPPI 3 rating. The course fee does not include NZHGPA fees.
The paragliding course will provide the following:
- Minimum of 40 flights.
- Minimum of 7 different flying sites.
- Coastal soaring and thermaling techniques .
- Top landings.
- Flying with other airborne craft.
- Landing approaches.
- Competent 360 degree turns.
- Slope landings.
- Back riser control in flight and landing.
- Speed control, reverse launch, height loss and spot landing techniques.
- Extensive theory with classroom sessions.
