Based on the water at Ellington Wharf you can launch here.. or you can jump in one of our 10 Support Boats and we'll take you to our "kite-point", sandy beach, where you can pump, launch and rip. Extreme Sports Cafe's partner Fiji Kitesurfing Resort instructors will have you out ripping, so regardless of your abilities, complete beginner, intermediate or "legend" our instructors are ready to assist you in achieving your kitesurfing goals…You’ll enjoy the best of Fiji’s sun-drenched beaches, crystal clear waters, and warm 15-30 knot sea breezes. Dedicated staff operating the support boat will make sure you've looked after. Having a support boat means you can fill it with food, drink and your daily needs....and just kite to your hearts content!

• The holiday - We have so many options for your kiting in Fiji. You can kite directly in front of the island Lodge on the white sandy Beach, or jump in one of our 10 Boats and launch from Sandy Point, 500m downwind the channel between the Mainland and the islands. Then you can blast downwind and our support boat will give you a ride home! You can also do Downwind Runs, round the following islands: Nananu-I-Ra, Dolphin, Nananu-I-Cake, or Malaki Islands.... We load you, your board & kite into our boat and your off...you choose where you want to kite too and from on every day! Want to land downwind on a deserted beach, relax, have lunch then kite upwind (or jump in the boat!) to come home. The area is renowned for its consistent 15-30 knot warm southeast cross-shore trade winds.
• Warm trade winds...We usually focus on kiting immediately in front of our Island Lodge in the windy passage that funnels between the mainland and the islands adjacent to Ellington Wharf. This offers the best wind and steady conditions. We may opt to kite from the white Sandy beach on the island. We Teach kiting from kitePoint - a fantastic Sandy Beach with complete safety - No reef or coconut trees - perfect! The Windy Season is from April - January. The quieter months of Jan to April provide good kiting however the trade winds are not as strong. Experience 10-20 knots during the off-season and 15-30 knots during the trade season: May - Dec, is windy with consistent warm trade winds.

Facing the consistent trade winds, Nananu-I-Ra island is a wind-sports paradise! April to October provide steady 15-30 Knot winds, perfect for Windsurfing and Kitesurfing! All year round we also offer Sailing, Sea Kayaking, Diving, Snorkelling, and Fishing adventures.

Fiji Kitesurfing Safari Package Prices

• 6 hours Kitesurfing lesson Package. $580p/p. (min2pax)
  
• One to One Private kitesurfing Instruction is also available. 2hrs-$220p/p.

Kitesurfing equipment hire is included in lessons and students may only hire kite surfing gear after completion of a lessons program. $150 per day for complete kitesurfing kit hire.

We strongly recommend experienced kiters bring their own kites, board & spare lines with them and plenty of bladder repair patches, just in case.

Kiteboarder level 1 (1-2 Days) Discovery Kiteboarder program 
Description: The best way to discover kiteboarding! By the end of this program, you will be ready to move to the next step: getting up on the board! The first part of this program will take you through the steps of piloting a 2 or 4 lines kite, and body dragging in the water. You will also learn about safety and how important it is to the sport. Furthermore, you will be taken through the steps of equipment set up and launching and landing.
