On this kite surfing course you will learn about piloting a 2 or 4 lined kite and body dragging in the water. You will also learn about safety and how important it is to the sport. You will also be taken through the steps of equipment set up, launching and landing. This kitesurfing course is 4hrs instruction and usually run over 1-2 days.
Beginner Taster Kitesurfing Course Mauritius €270
On this kite surfing course, you will improve on kite piloting with power, one hand kite piloting, body dragging unhooked and hooked into your harness. This course is perfect for those who wish to practice a few times a year and rent equipment on holiday. This kitesurfing course is 8hrs instruction and usually run over 2-3 days.
Full Beginner Kitesurfing Course Mauritius €350
On this kite surfing course, you will learn how to manage your practice area and choose your equipment. Your kite flying skills will be improved and you will learn how to control your direction and power, and come back to your starting point. You will also be able to fly more powerful kites and use a twin tip, mutant or a smaller directional board. This kitesurfing course is 12hrs instruction and usually run over 3-4 days.
Advanced Kitesurfing Course Mauritius €230
4hrs Kitesurfing instruction. Get instruction for skills you'd like to improve on including: up-wind riding, gibing, looping, tracking and much more.

Kite Boarding Certification - All Extreme Sports Cafe Kitesurfing / Kiteboarding courses follow the IKO (International Kitesurfing Organization) assessment system. (unless stated otherwise) Our kitesurf instructors are IKO qualified and at the end of each course students will receive a kitesurfing IKO card with their achieved level. All the necessary kitesurfing equipment is provided for students (excluding food and drinks) and the kitesurf courses last between 4 and 5 hours per day depending on the wind conditions. Students are advised to wear a hat and apply sun-cream as they will be spending a lot of time in the sun. Students must be 16 years or older, although we can teach children under 16 to kitesurf, with their parent’s permission and presence.
