Extreme Sports Café has teamed up with a Lanzarote Kitesurfing School, which has been established in the area for over 10 years. Extreme Sports Café now offers kite surfing camps for beginners, intermediates and advanced kite surfers at our partner Kitesurfing School on Lanazarote, Canarias, Spain.
Extreme Sports Cafes’ partner Lanzarote Kitesurfing School is an official FKI kite center with IKO instructors. (Italian Kitesurfing Federation) With the FKI teaching programs you'll learn in a fast and safe way. Our partner Lanzarote Kitesurfing School has last generation CABRINHA, Takoon kites and SEFON boards, wetsuits and all kitesurfing materials necessary including a Zodiac for when conditions require. Qualified kitesurf Instructors can teach kite surfing in English, Spanish or Italian.
Lanzarote is the most northern of the Canary Islands, 100km off the Moroccan coast in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The average water temperature is between 20-23 °C and air temperature is between 20-25 °C, which allows us to ride almost every day. Every day is different though different swell, different wind direction, different tides, different waves making each kite surfing ride here unique.

Our Kitesurfing Holiday packages include accommodation at the Surf House. Our Surf house is located in Caleta de Famara inside Famara Natural Park, 100 meters from the beach.
Here people from all over the world share a 250m2 house with everything necessary for a comfortable, relaxing fun holiday.
If you prefer a little more privacy we can organise your Kitesurfing Holidays accommodation in apartments, bungalows or the best hotels. All accommodation bookings require min 7 nights.
Caleta de Famara is a small fishing village privileged by nature just a few meters from the sea. Extreme Sports Cafe's Kitesurfing School organises your Kitesurfing holidays in apartments or bungalows equipped with everything necessary for a self-catering kitesurfing holiday. (linen change once a week)- You can choose from 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments. All come with fully equipped kitchens, home appliances, sun roof, etc. Some also come with TV and DVD. Just book in advance to get the best ones.
- The apartments and bungalows are located in Famara’s natural park just 100 meters from one of the most paradisiacal beaches on Lanzarote.
There are no Hotels or resorts here and all the buildings are small. (max 2 stories) There are several restaurants, 1 Hamburger house, 1 croisanterie, supermarkets, surf shops and lots of waves.
- There are no pharmacies, banks or cash machines. So we advise you to bring cash and if you are travelling with children carry a small medicine kit. The nearest pharmacy or clinic is a 10 minute drive away.
- There is an extra fee per week per apartment.(on top of our surf camp packages with shared accommodation). This fee is per apartment per week NOT per person.)

Kitesurfing Lanzarote Notes
- In the unlikely event that you do not complete your course due to bad conditions, extreme winds or lack of winds, Extreme Sports Café’s partner Lanzarote Kitesurfing School will give you a Personal Voucher valid for 1 year for the uncompleted hours of your kite surfing course.
- Our partner Lanzarote Kitesurfing School organises daily pick up/drop off of clients from any hotel/apartment in Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero and Arrecife areas. Minimum 2 persons. (Extra Charge applies)
- You can also rent kitesurfing equipment after completing your kite surfing training.
- If you are not renting a car during your holiday on Lanzarote, the Kite Surf school can arrange a taxi for you on the day of your arrival from the airport. The price per journey is approx 25€ (maximum 4 people per taxi)

Extreme Sports Cafe Lanzarote kitesurfing courses run year round except for February. Our partner Lanzarote Kitesurfing School is also closed on Sunday's.

The nightlife on Lanzarote offers you various possibilities. You can have a meal and chill out with a beer after a gruelling fun filled kite surfing, wind surfing or surfing session in the village or head into town to party.
- Famara - Stay in the village and work your way through the tapas bars, restaurants and surf style beach parties.
- Not to be missed every Friday live music at La Bartola and a night out at Lagomar.
- For good snacks, tapas and fast food try Hamburguesaria Famara, with it's internationally renown Famara burger.
- Buy fresh fish in Famara from the new fish market which opened in April 2007 El Choquito.
- Puerto del Carmen - A short drive across the island takes you to Lanzarote's answer to Las Vegas which is one long strip of busy bars and clubs mainly frequented by tourists. 30 min approx.
- Arrecife - If you fancy sampling the local culture then head to the capital of Lanzarote and party with the locals. Live Spanish music and a relaxed atmosphere. If you time it right you may get to experience a Carnaval when the whole island stops to party.
