Kite surfing lessons are held in the shallow warm water estuary of Alvor, a stones throw from the exciting town of Lagos.
- The Alvor estuary is one of the best spots to learn kite boarding on the Algarve and it is also one of the stops on the professional kite surfing world tour each year.
- The quality of the water is very clean with a sandy bottom and the water temperature is usually between 17 to 20 degrees warm.
- The estuary itself is adjoined to the ocean so as well as a beautiful setting it is also a safe one.

This kite surfing introduction course is 3hours of kitesurfing instruction and gives you a little taste of what kiting feels like. You will learn how to fly and control the kite on the beach.
Portugal Kitesurfing 2-Day Kitesurf Course €215
This kite surfing course is 7 hours of kitesurfing instruction covering water safety, body dragging and aims to get you ready for riding.
Portugal Kitesurfing 5-Day Beginner Kitesurf Course €410 
This Beginner Kitesurfing course includes 15 hours of kitesurfing instruction and will get you on the way to being able to purchase your own kite surfing equipment.
